Google’s auto-suggest is a wonderful thing. You can even use it to predict what’s going to happen to our country. After bankruptcy, it’ll be out of the euro and into the World Cup (and another grand slam). That is so 1990.

You can search for a speaker, but watch out. We tried to get the golfer Christy O’Connor but ended up with an ex-hurler and a professor…

Or what about looking for Mrs Browne and ending up with Vincent Browne?

Or try ordering another golfing legend (Christy O’Connor Jnr’s uncle)  – and ending up with Tracey Piggott or a blind adventure international motivational speaker. Some night that would be.

Some metadata about web pages turns up in the results pages of search engines such as Google.

If you have no data in the Description metadata, the page isn’t properly tagged for Google, and it makes up its own description from content elsewhere on the page.

But if you put crap in the description tag, Google spouts crap…

Yes, the description will need to be defined clearly here alright
