The agency in question is The Right Word. Check out its website’s home page. In fact the home page is the only page on the site…

The agency is run by Paddy Duffy, Bertie Ahern’s former press secretary and special adviser.

Duffy joined forces with Ahern when the latter entered the Dáil in 1977 and parted company with him in 1999.

Then he became a PR agency. Duffy travelled to the US as a guest of Fás in 2004 and 2006, even though he had no official role with the authority.

The cost of Duffy’s trips was charged to the Fás Science Challenge project, the same scheme which spent over €600k on transatlantic travel for the director general of Fás, Rody Molloy, his wife and senior Fás execs in a four-year period.

At least Duffy’s website keeps a very low profile, even if the man himself doesn’t.

  1. Hola Guru, lo que convencerle para que publique un artículo. Este artículo fue muy interesante, sobre todo porque yo estaba buscando ideas sobre este tema el pasado jueves.
